Spyher’s creative team developed this 4-day corporate retreat after being approached with a request for a program that would improve “psychological safety” amongst a firm’s executive management team. Psychological safety is the feeling that you can speak up, share ideas, and take risks without being judged, ridiculed, or punished. In a psychologically safe environment, people feel comfortable expressing themselves and making mistakes because they know their thoughts and contributions will be respected and valued. It’s a key component to effective problem-solving that allows for the totality of expertise on a corporate team to contribute.
At Spyher we believe an experiential learning environment, anchored by tailored scenarios, enable participants to absorb training and be able to apply new skills in their day-to-day lives. Those best suited to deliver experiential learning are individuals or entities with a deep understanding of the subject matter, a commitment to active engagement, and the ability to facilitate reflection and learning from experience. All of these qualities are found in abundance amongst the former intelligence and law enforcement professionals who make up the Spyher team.
In partnership with other small businesses, Operation SLIPSTREAM was produced with three distinct elements: Elite Cognition Performance Training; a Special Forces Day; and Realistic Mission Training. Participants learn techniques and strategies for generating ideas and solutions in a creative and collaborative manner. The exercises are designed to strengthen the bond between participants by working together, and facing challenges and celebrating victories as a team. Participants make and learn from mistakes in a controlled setting. They gain confidence in their abilities and readiness to tackle complex missions. By working together in realistic scenarios, individuals develop a shared understanding, trust, and cohesion, leading to more effective teamwork and synchronized execution of tasks.
