About

OPERATION SLIPSTREAM

TEAM-BUILDING THROUGH ESPIONAGE

Operation Slipstream, a corporate retreat program tailored for executive teams, is designed to foster a culture of psychological safety within a high-demand and corporate atmosphere. An experiential learning environment developed by actual former CIA operatives, the program leads team members through live-action Realistic Mission Training (RMT) scenarios on the streets of a nearby city with the goal to empower team members across all departments to share ideas, explore curiosities, voice concerns, collaborate, and actively contribute to the organization’s collective success against dynamic operational objectives. The problem set, a “Tasking” from Spyher headquarters   has been designed specifically to promote empathy, encourage communication, take advantage of diverse perspectives, and reward innovative thinking. Along the way, in-class sessions with subject matter experts and elite performance coaches grow team members confidence in each other and themselves. The program includes “A Day with Special Forces”, offering a range of experiences for the team to choose from, including but not limited to, non-lethal simulation firearms training, orienteering, close quarters battle training and fieldcraft training. The day culminates in a “see it to be it” exercise led by former Special Forces (SF) operators at which time the executive team integrates with elite SF and Spyher operators to execute the mission. Conducted at an off-site location, the experience brings team members together for a unique and lasting team-building exercise with valuable public and personal safety benefits.

Key Elements

Elite Cognition Performance Training

The two-module program teaches individuals or groups how to effectively identify the “right problem” to solve and provides techniques and strategies for generating ideas and solutions in a creative and collaborative manner. Participants will learn how to choose the most effective idea from the brainstorming phase and develop it into an actionable solution. Stakeholder analysis and the identification of assistors and resistors will help the team break down boundaries to solution implementation.

Special Forces Day

Special Forces training encourages teamwork, coordination, and effective communication among participants. It enables trainees to practice working together in high-stress situations. Participants will choose from a variety of exercises that foster camaraderie, team spirit, and enjoyment, all delivered by former U.S. Special Forces operators. Working together as a team, facing challenges, and celebrating victories strengthens the bond between players. Participants gain confidence and learn to remain focused, make rational decisions, and perform effectively.

Realistic Mission Training

RMT simulates, real-world operational scenarios that replicate the challenges, complexities, and dynamics that individuals and teams may encounter during actual missions or operations. It allows participants to make and learn from mistakes in a controlled setting. They gain confidence in their abilities and readiness to tackle complex missions. By working together in realistic scenarios, individuals develop a shared understanding, trust, and cohesion, leading to more effective teamwork and synchronized execution of tasks. RMTs include a hotwash or debrief to capture feedback and reflections that inform improvements
